i back up all the files. and i back up every time i am ready to exit the game using the game back-up feature. then i zip those files to a different hard drive -so i always have two backups to go to if i ever need it (and it happens i've needed it more than once) . by backing all the files, all my logos and jerseys, etc are in the back-up files and slide into the restored game perfectly. ( i save the back-up files for two game years. at the start of year 3 - i delete the oldest year - so at worst i am am not more than a year or two of lost games if it ever comes to that - rather than losing everything and having to start completely over...)
