The issue that irked me about the latest CBA, is that the union should have followed in the tracks of the NHL and had a minimum salary spend for all teams. That would force the bottom feeders of the league to actually spend some money, and at least put a semi-competitive team on the field for their fans to watch. Instead, the knuckleheads were only worried about the top half of the league teams being able to spend more before the luxury tax kicked in.

Agree. I'm a lifelong Oriole fan living in Buffalo. I think the cap floor should be 50% of the max. If your team can't afford to spend that much, move the team. If you combined teams like Baltimore,Cincy,Pirates, A's..they still wouldnt win 70 games.
