Tied 3-3, Ryan Wibbenmeyer connected on a single off Louisville reliever Tom Floria in the bottom of the 10th inning to score Danny Diaz with the game-winning run as St. Louis downed the Sluggers 4-3 in 10 innings at Busch Stadium (2006).
Florida failed to retire any of the three batters he faced in the 10th.
Diaz, a pinch-hitter, led off with a double. He went to third when Daniel Lopez followed with a single.
Wibbenmeyer than grounded a 3-1 pitch through the middle for the game-winning hit.
Single runs in the fourth, fifth and sixth innings off River Walkers starting pitcher Miguel Cisneros had given Louisville a 3-1 lead.
Miguel Coke wiped that out with his 44th home run of the season, a two-run belt off Sluggers reliever Kyle Kulig in the bottom of the eighth.
Cisneros went six innings, allowing three runs on eight hits. He struck out five and didn't walk a batter.
Greg Sones and Maxmilliano Minelli both followed with scoreless innings.
Frank Jimenez worked a scoreless ninth and got the first two outs of the 10th.
Victor Rosiles retired the only batter he faced to end the 10th.
Roisles (1-0) got hit first win of the season.
