The St. Louis River Walkers have announced the signing of right-handed starting pitcher Agustin Perdomo to a five-year contract worth $94.5 million.
Perdomo first made the majors in 2032 and has spent his entire career with Columbus.
In 2038, the 30-year-old Perdomo topped the American League with 17 wins as part of a season where he went 17-7 with a 3.77 ERA in 33 games.
For his career, the right-hander is 66-73 with a 4.61 ERA in 217 games (196 starts).
The contract starts at $18.5 for the 2039 and 2040 season, after which there is a player option.
The 2041 and 2042 seasons will pay him $19 million and the 2043 season is worth $19.5 million.
The final season also includes a team buyout.
