The Astros put him on the block, and when I saw they'd take Conforto, I jumped on it. I included Tyler Frank as he's a marginal prospect and Houston was willing to take 60% of Brantley's $16M salary so with the pro-rations it only ended up costing us about $1.1M. There's way too much swing-and-miss in our lineup (we're dead last in batting average in MLB) so Brantley should be able to keep innings alive. Like Conforto, he's a free agent at year's end. Randy Arozarena will move to RF and Brantley will play LF.
