Week six saw us back on the winning track as we posted a record of two and one. Obviously the effort was there in the two wins, but even in defeat, we were only down a goal with less than a minute remaining. As a head coach, you ask your players to compete hard, and when they do, you're almost always in the game, and you absolutely know your players have done their job.

In other news of the week, Mark Messier reached a career milestone of 400 goals, while Mario Lemieux topped 900 points at the tender young age of 26.
