Walkers news: April 14 -- Indianapolis 4, St. Louis 2

Record: 2-8, 6th, 4 GB Kansas City and Quad City
Down 2-0, Indianapolis scored three times in the bottom of the third inning and went on to defeat St. Louis 5-2 at the Astrodome (1995).
The loss was the seventh in a row for the River Walkers.
Ramon Montes led off the bottom of the third inning with a single off St. Louis starting pitcher Miguel Cisneros.
After a bunt by pitcher Jorge Rodriguez moved Montes to second, Cisneros walked Johnny Castognozzi to put two runners on.
When CJ Abrams followed with a single, the bases were loaded.
Tony Galvan singled, scoring Montes to make it 2-1.
A passed ball by catcher Zach Wenman while Nick Jackson was at the plate allowed Castognozzi to score, tying the game.
Jackson then put the Racers in front, as Abrams scored on his ground out.
Indy added insurance runs in the sixth.
Galvan led off with a single off Cisneros and scored on a Damiao Orzco two-out single.
Abrams capped the scoring with a homer off reliever Victor Rosiles in the seventh.
Rodriguez worked just the first 3.1 innings for the Racers, allowing two runs on three hits. He struck out six and walked four.
Alfonso Zamora (1-0) earned the win after he finished the fourth and also pitched the fifth and sixth innings.
Relievers Nick Thiel (2.0 IP) and Ramiro Canales (1.0) closed out the win for the Racers.
Canales earned his first save.
