August 1st 1959 Update
Looks like we have races between three teams in both leagues. In the American, New York, Baltimore, and Detroit are slugging it out. Meanwhile over in the National, the Phillies,
Cubs, and the Redlegs are neck and neck going down the stretch. Earlier this past month saw a no hitter between the Yankees and the White Sox, with New York on top 2-0.
