Walkers news: May 2 -- Twin Citis 5, St. Louis 4

Record: 10-17, 7th, 6 GB Quad City
Twin Cities scored a pair of runs off St. Louis closer Craig Fritzler in the bottom of the ninth inning to defeat the River Walkers 5-4 at Target Field.
Pinch-hitter Pete Johnson tied the score when he led off the inning with a homer to left field.
It marked Fritzler's fourth blown save of the season, matching his total for the 2038 season.
Juan Yanez later drew a one-out walk.
Mike Sartain won it two batters later hitting a two-out double on the first pitch he saw.
St. Louis led 4-2 going into the bottom of the eighth when the Snow Cats scored twice to pull within a run.
Danny Morrison drove in both runs with a two-out single off River Walkers reliever Yelin Rodriguez.
Rodriguez had entered the game after starter Xiang Ming struck out Juan Yanez to lead off the inning.
Rodriguez came in and allowed all four batters he faced to reach base --two walks and two singles -- with Morrison being the hit which tied the game.
Snow Cats starting pitcher Travis Mayr went five innings, allowing four runs on five hits. He struck out five and walked two.
Chris Bigalow (0.2 IP) and Tristan Nicholls (0.1) combined to pitch a scoreless sixth inning .
Mike Harney did the same in the seventh.
Danny Patino (2-2) would earn the win after keeping the Walkers off the scoreboard in the eighth and ninth.
