Walkers news: May 3 -- St. Louis 10, Twin Cities 5

St. Louis put together two big innings -- scoring four runs in the top of the second and five in the fifth -- to power its way to a 10-5 win over Twin Cities at Target Field.
Tied 1-1, Joe Allen gave the River Walkers the lead for good when he hit a grand slam off Snow Cats starting pitcher Brent Autin in the top of the second.
With Twin Cities having pulled to within 5-4, St. Louis busted it open again the top of the fifth.
This time, Allen got things rolling with a lead-off double off Ruben Lopez.
A wild pitch moved Allen to second, and he scored on a Manuel Coke single.
But St. Louis wasn't done.
Mark Herman followed with a double as Coke moved to third,
Chris Gibbs then reached on an error by third baseman Jim Felde as Coke scored to make it 7-4.
Brandon Jollay replaced Lopez, only to walk two of the next three hitters to load the bases.
Jollay made it three walks in the inning with a free pass to Perdomo, scoring Mark Herman.
Jose Ramon followed with a two-out single to make it 10-4
Perdomo pitched seven innings, allowing five runs on nine hits. He struck out two and walked the same.
Chris Willett worked two scoreless innings in relief.
