We'll start off with the first AL tiebreaker game for the third wild card to see where the Rays will be traveling to tomorrow:
And it's the longest trip possible as we head to Seattle after perhaps the wildest tiebreaker game short of Bobby Thomson with the Seahawks defeating the Browns, I mean Mariners over the Guardians 16-10. It should work to the Rays' advantage that Seattle had to heavily use its bullpen and play 12 innings.
In the NL, they're playing for the East title which comes with a bye as the #2 seed:
In another game with high drama the Mets recovered from blowing a 2-0 lead late to take a 4-2 win over Atlanta and claim the NL East. Atlanta will now host St. Louis in the wild card round.
