We successfully made a waiver claim on former Astro (and former elite prospect) Forrest Whitley. Houston waived him as he was out of options and the luster is off Whitley some as he's had a hard time staying healthy and an even harder time keeping the ball over the plate. He has 65 stuff as a starter but only 45 movement and 35 control. We're hopeful our coaching staff can get him turned around as we've done for many pitchers before him.
