Just one to keep an eye out for this season and perhaps it's an omen for Red Sox Nation.
Marcelo Mayer is currently playing his age-19 season at A-Ball Salem in Boston's system, and doing quite well. BNN like the look of him for this OFA season as well, expecting him to hit 277 with 16 HR. Which is a bit out of the blue considering his so-so ratings and 6-for-28 career at this level. Consider my interest piqued.
