Walkers news: June 6 -- Milwaukee 5, St. Louis 4, 12 innings

Record: 26-31, 7th, 7 GB Cedar Rapids
Tied 4-4, Milwaukee put its first three batters on base against St. Louis reliever Alex Rios in the top of the 12th inning before Chris Vogel connected on a sacrifice fly off Leo Hermosillo as the Crushers downed the River Walkers 5-4 at Busch Stadium (2006).
Rios was bad.
He gave up a single to Lamourex to open the inning.
Lamoureux stole second before Andy Burhoe drew a walk.
Danny Gutierrez then drew the second walk of the inning to load the bases.
Hermosillo took over and gave up Vogel's fly ball to left which brought home the winning run.
Down 4-1, the Walkers forced extra innings with one out in the bottom of the ninth when Mark Waterson connected on a three-run homer off Dave Araya.
The Crushers scored three times in the fifth off St. Louis starter Ming Xiang -- Angel Ontiveros and Lamoureux both had RBI doubles while Andy Burhoe drove in one with a single -- to go up 3-0.
Lamoureux earned another RBI in the top of the ninth with a single off Brett McVey, making it 4-1.
Milwaukee starting pitcher Pablo Maldonado was dominating, allowing no runs on five hits He struck out seven and walked one.
Melvin Araujo gave up the first Walkers run while allowing a pinch-hit homer from Nolan Gorman in the seventh.
Luis Colon pitched a scoreless eighth for the Crushers.
Araya handled the ninth, when St. Louis tied it.
Antony Barrowcliff (1.1 IP) and Curt Donaldson (1.2) divided up the extra innings.
Donaldson (1-1) earned his first victory of the season.
