Extra Innings Baseball - Miami Marlins and Minnesota Twins

Extra Innings Baseball (EIB) is entering our 45th season and has two open teams.

Started in 2013, the league is currently in the off-season, with Opening Day scheduled around June 23rd.

MIAMI MARLINS
The Marlins have been well managed for the past few seasons, but finished last year with 75-87 record.

The Marlins have the 3rd best farm system: CF (7), P (13), and P (29) and hold the 10th pick in the upcoming draft. The team does not have any funds available for free agents, but new GM's are allowed to void contracts to make the team financially stable.

MINNESOTA TWINS

The Minnesota Twins finished last year with a 66-96 record. Prior to last season, the team has competed in the division.

The Twins have the 10th best farm system: 2B (19), 2B (42), P (53), P (69) and P (94). The Twins also hold the 3rd pick in the upcoming draft.

The Twins have $14m available for free agents, and also have the option to remove contracts.

EIB
The league itself is quiet but competitive. There's not much chatter but remains competitive amongst the owners, a majority of who have been around for a long time.

Each MLB team has 7 minor league teams in the system, which provides good depth and development opportunities. The 7 day sims also allows you to set your lineups and pitching staff accordingly.

Also, the league winner receives a custom Tervis tumbler commemorating the season.
