Walkers news: June 29 -- Louisville 4, St. Louis 0

Record: 37-41, 3rd, 7.5 GB Cedar Rapids
Travis Pooler and four Louisville relievers combined to shut out St. Louis on three hits as the Sluggers downed the River Walkers 4-0 at Dodger Stadium.
Pooler (2-4) handled the first five scoreless innings -- allowing only a single and double -- while striking out three and walking one.
After that it was a parade of four relievers -- Keith Kirby, John Good, Bryan Little and Benjamin Wiegman -- who all pitched one inning apiece.
The Sluggers scored single runs against St. Louis starting pitcher Agustin Perdomo in the bottom of the fourth and fifth innings.
Caleb Kinney tallied the fourth inning run after he singled with one out.
A two-out walk to Jose Gonzalez moved Kinney to second.
Joe Connel drove him home with a single.
The next inning, back-to-back singles from Isaac Rodriguez and Chris Zoltan opened the inning.
Dan Boyle then drove in Rodriguez with a fly ball to center.
Louisville got its final two runs in the seventh.
Perdomo was still on the mound to open the inning.
He exited with one after hitting Boyle with a pitch.
Carlos Hernandez took over and was greeted by a Israel Garcia double.
He then hit Caleb Kinney with a pitch before striking out Brice Mills for the second out.
Chris Willett then got the call for the Walkers only to give up a single tJose Gonzalez, scoring Boyle and Garcia.
