Record: 72-62, 2nd, 3 GB Cedar Rapids
Scoreless through five innings, Grand Rapids tallied twice against St. Louis rookie starting pitcher Juan Farias in the top of the sixth inning and the Traders went on for a 3-1 win at Busch Stadium (2006).

The rest of the damage came with two outs.
Jake Klingenstein pushed Mackey across the plate with a double.
Edwin Palos then made it 2-0 with a single.
The Walkers got their lone run in the bottom of the sixth.
Nolan Gorman drew a one-out walk from Traders starting pitcher Mark McDougall.
He scored when R.J. Gomez followed with a double.
Grand Rapids reclaimed its two-run lead in the top of the seventh against the St. Louis bullpen.
Back-to-back errors to open the inning -- first by first baseman Nick Shaw and the second by second baseman Tom Porter -- put two on board for the Traders.
Mackey later scored Chris Jensen with a two-out single off Alex Rios.
MacDougall (10-6) went 5.1 innings, he gave up one run on six hits. He struck out nine and walked three.
Matt Ray finished the sixth for Grand Rapids.
Josh Hertel and Fernando Maldonado worked the seventh and eighth, respectively.
Closer Mike Webb opened ninth but gave way to Chris Patton after allowing a single to Mark Herman and a walk to Manuel Coke.
Patton struck out Nick Shaw to end it and earn his second save.
