Thank you for the replies, i have a lot to learn!
I am using the Steam version of the sim if it makes a difference, i found out the hard way that you do not use the My Documents folder for the steam version, instead i have had to drop my mods in the game install directory to make them work correctly.
@The Game: So, i can put all the fictional stuff in a sub folder of the main install directory (say called fictional) and tell the sim which custom folder to look in for everything?
I am getting more and more excited to try this out!
