We had some players who were out of options and had to go on waivers, but Ps Jonathan Melendez, Jimmy Leonard and Jon Cunningham, along with OF/P Josh Schwartzlow, all cleared waivers and were assigned to Durham.
One player who did make the OD roster because of his status was Micah Crickenberger, who had the right to refuse an option to the minors and did, so we'll give him a shot to start the season and send Chris Winkler to Durham.

Caleb Ramos and Bob Riley take the rotation spots of Marc Gibson and Jim Brophy last year, while the returning-from-injury Dan Anderson, and new arrivals Jose Morales, Micah Crickenberger, and Abelado Gray take the bullpen spots of Josh Grote, BJ Turner, Sean Forbes, and Ramos who moved to the rotation.
