Walkers news: April 19: Perdomo placed on 10-day IL with forearm injury
The St. Louis River Walkers have placed starting pitcher Agustin Perdomo on the 14-day injury list after he left his team's 11-1 loss to Chicago on April 18 after one inning because of forearm tendinitis.
Perdomo has made two starts this season and lasted just six innings.
He left his first start after five innings, after he was ejected for starting a brawl by purposely hitting a batter with a pitch.
Perdomo's has no record for the season and a 4.50 ERA.
Getting called up from AAA Memphis is right-handed relief pitcher Adam Tresidder.
Signed in the offseason as a free agent, Tresidder has pitched in four games for the Redbirds going 0-1 with an 8.31 ERA.
For his career, the 35-year-old has pitched in 55 major-league games going 1-2 with one save and a 2.79 ERA.
Nate Simmons is expected to be called up from AAA when Perdomo's spot in the pitching rotation comes around.
