Mrs. Cobb, the puppies, and I were out for a jaunt yesterday around the NE tip of the mitten. It was a beautiful day, with only a few clouds in the distance...BUT...we need clear skies as well. I'll be looking hard for some menacing skies in the near future, as well as some of our famous Great Lakes sunsets.

First up is a small roadside park maybe 20 miles east of Cheboygan on US-23. If you squint over LF, you can see Big Mac.

After that comes Hammond Harbor, a State Harbor of Refuge closer to Rogers City than Cheboygan, It's also just off US-23.
