Analysis

We are now beyond the halfway mark as we reach mid-June. Two teams look to be locks for the playoffs, many other teams are battling for the scraps after those two, and three are virtually eliminated. Let's look at our Top 5 and take a look at the midseason playoff picture.

#1 Nordhagen Beach - The defending champions have not been as dominant as their best-ever season indicated. However, the 2302 version is now atop the CBO, tied with #2 Fort Hagen for the best record. The Boys went 4-1 on the week, losing their first game of the week to Abernathy (#23) before winning their next four, splitting with the Adamantium and sweeping The Slog (#19). Nordhagen Beach has now won 10 of 11 in June.

#2 Fort Hagen - They may not have remained in the #1 overall seed, but the Silver Shroud are still winning weeks. They have had a positive week in five straight weeks, going 3-2 this week. Fort Hagen split at County Crossing (#14) and then won two of three at Starlight (#7).

#3 Diamond City - The Swatters remained in the third spot, thanks to their impressive midweek performance, winning both games at Jamaica Plain (#4) and ten winning only one of three at Egret (#19).

#4 Jamaica Plain - The Rockets continued their climb in the Minutemen League by overcoming their sweep vs the Swatters with a sweep at University Point (#8). With Atom's (#9) getting swept at the hands of Quincy (#16), the Red Rockets are in 1st place and tied with the Swatters for the SCA's best record.

#5 Roxbury - With a refusal to fade away, the Rad Sox enter the Top 5 as the sole 2nd place team. Roxbury had another solid, consistent week, splitting with the Cats before winning two of three over Vault 81 (#11).
