How sweep it is...
The Rays cruised into the World Series thanks to an 8-4 win in Chicago, giving them a series sweep. Tampa Bay scored early and often, taking a 5-0 lead, but Melvin Delgado couldn't stand prosperity or pick up the win when he allowed 3 runs in the 5th and had to come out. The White Sox made it interesting, creeping to within 5-4, but Luis Barela put any comeback thoughts to an end with a bases-clearing double in the 9th to break it open again and send Tampa Bay on its way.
*Also I call BS on Joel Taylor winning Series MVP. It's one thing to reward a player from a losing team when the series goes the distance, but the White Sox were swept for crissakes.
We're going to have to wait at least another couple of days to see who we're going to play though as the Giants stayed alive:
