History in the making?
With tonight's 3-2 win in Game 3 of the World Series the Rays are on the verge of not only winning their 16th championship in this save but could be the first team since the 1976 Cincinnati Reds to go through the postseason undefeated and the first team to ever go undefeated in a 3-round postseason. Tonight it was Bob Riley stealing the show, keeping Cardinal hitters in check with the exception of a 2-run homer, and the bats supplied just enough offense to win with Seth Williams in the middle of things once again as his fielder's choice scored the eventual winning run. Melvin Delgado will look to close it out tomorrow and make history.
