Or, to make life easier, the second round becomes the draft pick compensation round.
I know there are limited in-game options to edit a round or rounds when the draft opens up. I am unsure if I will be able to put together the order like I want it to be, though. Specifically, will I be able to have the same team have multiple picks for the multiple top free agents they lost? Furthermore, can I delete a pick if a free agent doesn't sign prior to the draft or re-signs with his original team? Or should I expect to dive into a .CSV file somewhere?
Thanks for any help. I tried searching for this subject, but most similar questions were outdated and/or not as elaborate as mine.

From my experience, what you are trying to do - pretty much anything, for that matter - is possible up to the day of the Draft. But you will have to do it via the import / export CSV route, because the game screen only allows access to the 1st Round and the ability to use that order for all subsequent Rounds.
It does seem daunting, I know but trust me I'm no Steve Wozniak and I got my head around it no probs and now do this is a number of my leagues.
The key bit of advice I have for you is this:
SAVE YOUR SAVE
before doing anything, because you will almost certainly make a botch of it first time round.
Good luck!
