Gold league:

Los Angeles split the final series with Bushwood to drop their season winning percentage to .600, leaving a potential path for Coney Island to slip past at the last moment. Claptown had other plans though, taking 2 of 3 in their series with Coney Island, leaving them just .007 behind (one more win by Coney / loss by L.A. would have been enough to flip flop the standings).

For the post season, Waffletown claimed the top seed in the NC. Los Angeles picked up the second wild card spot (all wild cards and the 3rd division winner came from the NC East, so every team playing in the first round in the NC are intimately acquainted with each other already).

Selfishly for Waffletown was hoping to be the only OL team left standing cause we were mediocre against 'em at best this season. I foresee this setup as another repeat of past playoff "runs", where we're primed to be bounced in our first round. Syrups played just .500 ball against OL competition, but .680 against the rest of the league; and they will play the winner of (Syrups record vs) Los Angeles (2-5)-Muskegon (5-2)

after playing spoiler for Coney Island; Claptown will head back to SIlver next season
