Extreme Championship Baseball is looking for competitive, committed general managers to join our ranks. We've been going strong for 18 months (real time) and we are looking to the future!
We currently have 20 teams in the year 1915 and will eventually be expanding to 24. Right now, you can join as the GM of one of our British independent teams, try out the league and either take on an existing team when a spot opens up or stick around for the expansion once we have four teams ready!
A little about the league. We use reserve clause era financial rules. This means once you draft a player, he is yours forever unless you trade him. Salaries are not competitive, and the commissioner will force extensions on anyone who refuses negotiations. Accumulated cash is used almost exclusively for building new stadiums and buying players via trade.
Depending on the market of a new team will determine your starting fan loyalty. Larger markets, less starting loyalty and the other way around. Market sizes are directly reflective of real-world population information of that city in the given year.
