Game 1: 4-5 L. LP-Scott (0-1). Starter-Bradley (5 4 2 2 3 3). HR-Franco (1), Tucker (2). Taj Bradley was impressive in his MLB debut shutting out Texas through 5, but put the first two on in the 6th and Tanner Scott gave up a 3-run homer to Nick Yorke and the Rays never could come all the way back.

Game 2: 6-2 W. WP-Taylor (1-0). Starter-McClanahan (6 6 2 2 0 7). HR-J.Jackson (1), Mead (1). Filling in for a banged-up Wander Franco, Jeremiah Jackson blasted a 2-run homer in the 7th to break a 2-2 tie and Mead added a 2-run shot in the 8th.

Game 3: 7-1 W. WP-Swanda (1-1, 5.2 4 1 1 2 7). HR-Tucker (3). Kyle Tucker was 4-5 including a solo homer and Ozzie Albies had a pair of RBI hits including a triple to pace the offense and support a well-pitched game from Swanda.

Team record: 4-3, tied with the Yankees atop the AL East. Next up: Our season-opening homestand concludes with 3 against Detroit.
