ROLLING HILLS BATS COME ALIVE IN 3RD GAME, BASH SLIGO FOR 2-1 LEAD IN PRO CUP SERIES
It not how many hits you get in a baseball contest, it's how many runs you put on the scoreboard... in game three Sligo had a 13-8 hit advantage over Rolling Hills, but they were on the short end of a 7-4 score on the scoreboard
... it was an important victory for the Racers, who now possess a 2-1 edge in the IPA Pro Cup Series and their quest for a record-setting 8th Pro Cup Trophy... they could wrap up another IPA crown with two more victories at home
... games four and five are set for Rolling Hills... the Racers are really tough at home, posting a 59-18 mark at the Midtown Base Ball Grounds this season... they win 76% of their home games... the Rovers play well at home (50-27)
and even better on the road (51-26).
