So in real life, the Northwest League ended its '73 season on August 31st, and the NY-Penn League ended the next day, Sept 1st. So, if OOTP is following those schedules I'm assuming that you are stuck on Sept 1st, unable to complete at least the Geneva vs Oneonta game. Correct?

If so, I'd make a backup and then try the following:

1. Force some free agents onto the Oneonta team so they definitely have a enough players, then try to advance the game. If that doesn't work...

2. Restore from your back up and then force some free agents onto the Oneonta team so they definitely have a enough players, then try to play out that game. If that doesn't work...

3. Restore from your back up and then try to simply remove that game from the schedule, then try to advance the game... the idea being that the NY-Penn League's season would finish even though Geneva & Oneonta played one less game than the other teams...

Others may have other suggestions... All worth a try, rather than having to abandon your current game.

Good luck & report back!
