If so, I'd make a backup and then try the following:

2. Restore from your back up and then force some free agents onto the Oneonta team so they definitely have a enough players, then try to play out that game. If that doesn't work...

3. Restore from your back-up and then try to simply remove that game from the schedule, then try to advance the game... the idea being that the NY-Penn League's season would finish even though Geneva & Oneonta played one less game than the other teams...

Others may have other suggestions... All worth a try, rather than having to abandon your current game.

Good luck & report back!

I was unable to complete the NY team with free agents because there was no list of any to choose from. So, I filled the team with fictional players and tried again to autoplay until the 1974 season starts. The game CTWs whilst loading all the database stuff. I restarted and did the same with fictional players and advanced the play a day at a time. It crashes on 21 October, doing the same thing as when I try to advance to the start of the 1974 season. Could it be crashing because of the fictional players? If so, I don't know how to add the free agents because I can't find a list of any.

I was able to remove the ficitional players and replace them with free agents but the game still crashes when I go past 20 Oct 73.
