MACS AND TUCKS NEAR SWEEPS, BLACKHAWKS AND MONTIES HAVE 2-1 LEADS
This year's Pro Cup favorite Wynnamac Sundowners are shining bright in the IPA playoffs, however defending IPA champion Rolling Hills has run into some bigtime trouble... the Macs have won three straight games from the Glasco Foxhounds in the Ruthlandian Union First Round, while the Racers have lost three in a row to the Tuckanarra Tiger Cats in the Tycobbian Union... one more victory and the Sundowners will head to the RU Finals... one more defeat and the season is over for Rolling Hills.
In yesterday's Ruthlandian Union action Wynnamac soundly beat Glasco 9-1 and Valka pulled out a come-from-behind 6-5 victory in 10 innings over the Stoner Silver Sox... in Tycobbian Union play the Tucks tamed Rolling Hills 7-2 and the Mahaska Haymakers skimmed by the San Alejo Montaneros 6-4.
Both Valka and San Alejo lead their best-of-seven series two games to one.
