Enjoyable stream last night, feel like this will help a lot of people get into the college game (myself included). Not being a US native I'm an adopted fan and some of the concepts still elude me!
Just a thought but it would be good to have the players academic year available on the training assignment screen, either replacing the dressed column or even in parentheses after the players name or something, just because obviously you want to invest your training time in the younger guys as you've got them for the longest time.
Also liked the idea of having the poll rankings show on the standings screen, did you mean in the conventional manner of them being displayed as "Team(#1)" ?
EDIT - Also, is there anyway of knowing the 'pull' of your program? As I said if you're not familiar with the schools reputations irl, does the game steer you towards the level of prospect you've got the most chance of obtaining? Do international players consider all schools or only top ones? Is it based on recent success? I'm Ohio State and I'm not sure of their rep in the Hockey world so I dont know if I should shoot for local guys or if I could get any prospect worldwide
EDIT- Also, the new tactical info tips are so great, such a useful addition that will make things much more digestible for new fans and even those old fans who don't know the ins and outs of hockey tactics. Just listening to the stream (and this has been mentioned before on the forum in the larger older tactical posts) Jeff says that once you're done setting each individual tactic based on the fit it has for your team, to then make sure it "makes sense" overall, as I understand some tactical concepts don't work when transitioning into others. Could this be added as another bullet point underneath each tactical setting? ie "Works well from (tactic before) to (tactic after)" so it gives people an idea. You've got the tip on there about what it works strong AGAINST though I'm not sure how many people scout opponents tactics when considering their own and as far as I know people just want to play to their own strengths and this would help build on this already great improvement for FHM9.
