Put him at whatever level of the minors you think he should be at and see how he develops. He may be a future HOF-er.
If\when he makes it to The Show he'll probably be fine if you don't have a team full of malcontents. Have a captain, other leaders, to keep things in line. If you're winning you'll be fine. I you're not winning you'll still have 3 years of control while trying to build, hopefully around him, a winner. If you do that then winning cures a lot of problems.
Be patient, just after the draft is not the time to panic.
