Shots by defensemen seem unrealistically high to me. In a custom league I've set up 15 of the top 30 shots on goal are from D whereas in the NHL just 4 of the top 30 are. Also, watching a number of games in 2D it appears that no matter what offensive system is employed forwards just put the puck back to D men who shoot from the blue line.
