Frederick Middleton "Penny" Bailey colorized. Some of these players from the olden days are difficult. There is sometimes no "goldilocks" image- i.e no clearly defined image of the player in the desired uniform. Here I have Bailey in three looks. The first is with the Hartford Senators minor league club, a few years after Bailey's MLB career was over. The second is a very grainy newspaper shot with the Boston Braves that was shared by tnfoto.
