We've had plenty of reports of this from throughout the year, and the best solution I can pass along is to delete old .PT and tournament files in the Profile and Settings tab (it's a button on the right side, "Delete old PT League & Tournament files). That usually clears things up.
I'm not sure if the team has ever really pinpointed the cause of what's causing this to happen, and believe me, I've passed this along multiple times.
