Toronto wins the AL East for the 6th straight year. The Chicago Grasshoppers win the NL East, qualifying for the post season for their first time. This leaves the Chicago Olympian's as the only team to never make the playoffs.

Hank Aaron followed up a 44 home run season in 2002 with 43 bombs in 2003. The 37 year old now has 522 career home runs, putting him 22 behind Mel Ott, the all time leader with 544. Ott is 36 years old

Toad Ramsey added another 16 wins in 2003 giving him 273. Ramsey now has 3894 strikeouts. Amazing thing, Ramsey has never once won 20 games and has yet to ever once be named Pitcher of the Year. Ramsey is 39 years old. Trailing Ramsey by 13 wins is Garrit Cole. Cole(38) had a rough season in 2003, 10-6 5.01. Coles strikeout totals have fallen from 214 in 2001 to 112 in 2002 and 69 in 03, Have to think Cole's retirement may occur this off season.

The other pitchers with 200 wins are Ed Seward(36) with 226, Steve Carlton(34) with 216 and Madison Bumgarner(39) with 205.

Going to be interesting to see if Austin Riley comes back for one more season. Riley is sitting at 2992 hits, but he is 40 years old.
