Game 1: 2-1 W. WP-McClanahan (4-2, 7 5 1 1 0 4). S-Fairbanks (7). Another stellar outing from Mac and RBI hits from Tork and Schmitt in the first inning stood up. Fairbanks struck out the side in the 9th for the save, bouncing back from a couple of blown ones.

Game 2: 0-3 L. LP-Bradley (4-3, 4.2 6 3 3 2 3). Our offensive woes continue. We did bang out 7 hits and draw 4 walks, but all the hits were singles and we grounded into three double plays.

Game 3: 4-5 L. LP-Scott (0-1). Starter-Castillo (5.2 6 4 4 5 3). HR-Ozuna (8). Ozuna's 3-run homer in the top of the 6th put the Rays ahead 4-3 but Castillo was awful in the bottom of the inning, loading the bases and walking in a man to let the Marlins equalize, then a Wander error in the 7th was the primary culprit in allowing the winner to come home. Loaded the bases in the 9th but Wander capped a horrible day (0-5 and the key error) by grounding out to end the game.

Team record: 21-21, 3rd in the East 1 1/2 behind the Yankees. Next up: 3 games in Atlanta, which sports an identical record to ours.
