Won't lie, had never heard of
Dick Ross prior to this game - he played for the St. Louis Stars in the mid-1920s NeL.
But boy does the game like him as both a hitter and hurler...
And I've not seen this before: a two-way SP going yard 3 times in a game he's pitching. Very fancy indeed. Despite which, Eddie Rent still gets the headline. There's little justice, if any, in this world.
