The RPL season starts on the first Saturday in June. The RNL starts on the first Saturday in July.

Obviously there's a lot of "unpleasantness" (to use my best understatement) with Russia going on. In the real world this has resulted in Russian teams being disqualified from the World Cup (the team was denied participation in the last round of qualification) and European club competitions. I haven't decided how I want to handle this when the game gets to 2022, but we'll cross that river when we get there.

The same goes for COVID in 2020, now that I think about it. Yeesh, the real world can be a real bummer. But that's a ways off! Two more league overviews to go!

Next up: Austria and Scotland!
