Season 28 (2014)

After 2 consecutive postseasons without a representative, the Modern League had both World Series participants, who also both won a league high 101 regular season games. In an instant classic, the 1970s won their 5th All Decades League championship, tying the 1890s and 1990s for the most championships. Despite a last place finish, the 1960s saw Nolan Ryan become the second pitcher in All Decades League history to record 300 wins. After the season, Ryan announced his retirement, finishing with league career records of 309 wins and 8500 strikeouts.
