Collegiate Pyramid - 1900 Season
Our first-ever, division one champion was the
LSU Tigers out of Baton Rouge, as they barely outpaced the hard-charging
Texas A&M to maintain their place perched at the top of the table. They finished with the 2nd rated offence and 6th rated staff in D1… and led the league in profit at $4.9mm. Interestingly, the
Razorbacks, who were nearly relegated this year, finished 2nd in profit at $4.8mm – will be interesting to see what they do next season.
If ever in Baton Rouge, the local Econo Lodge comes
highly recommended. That school also has a
Beach Volleyball Stadium, which is brilliant.

-The Auburn Tigers and Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets suffered the indignity of relegation and were replaced, happily, by the West Virginia Mountaineers and Oklahoma Sooners, respectively.
-As a sort of sidenote, or just because I find it interesting, Wazzu promoted out of the 4th tier and will, henceforth, ply their trade in the 3rd. John Candy’s favorite American college getting after it!
-Blue Mountain State won the annual Summer School tournament, defeating the Harrison University Cougars by a score of 12-3 in the final.
