I was glad that the Tigers drafted Lou Whitaker last year, but then he ended up not signing, so they had a compensatory pick. Here was the top 10
1)Brewers-Rickey Henderson
2)Pirates-Alan Trammell
3)Tigers-Wade Boggs (Compensatory)
4)Braves-Lou Whitaker
5)Rangers-Mike Scott
6)Padres-Billy Sample
7)White Sox-Pat Tabler
8)Tigers-Steve Kemp
9)Expos-Jay Howell
10)Reds-Pascual Perez
I drafted a SS in the first round who never got above AAA IRL, Jesus Alfaro. "a good-good human being and a fine gentleman"

I then drafted a CF who never got above AA in the 2nd round, Vernon "Al" Armstead.
Then in the 3rd I drafted Victor Cruz, a pitcher who had a few dozen wins and saves in the late 70 and early 80's.
