For NCAA players that receive a redshirt, is it possible for them to be re-assigned to the USHL or a similar junior league that has their contract rights for the current season and returns to their college (or commits to a different college) the following year? A few players do this every year, such as Tyler Boucher leaving Boston and going to the OHL.
