Game 1: 12-3 W. WP-Castillo (1-0, 5 4 3 3 2 5). S-Gaston (1). HR-DeLoach (1). DeLoach's 3-run homer, one of his three hits, made the game 5-0 in the 2nd and sent the Rays on their way. Mead was 3-5 with 3 RBI, Luciano doubled twice and drove in a pair, and Tork was 2-3 with 2 RBI. Sandy Gaston went 4 1 0 0 1 7 to close out the game.

Game 2: 3-7 L. LP-Swanda (1-1, 4 7 5 5 0 5). HR-Torkelson (2). Tork's 1st-inning homer gave them a quick 2-0 lead but Swanda wasn't very good from there. Joey Stock gave up a 2-run homer to first man he faced as a Ray.

Game 3: 4-3 W (14). WP-Gaston (1-0). S-Moran (1). Starter-Orze (3 8 3 3 1 3). HR-Albies (4), Franco (3). A pair of homers were big as Albies' 2-run shot in the 5th tied the game at 3 and Wander's solo blast in the 14th won it. After another terrible start from Orze the bullpen was magnificent with 11 innings of 4-hit shutout ball, helping the Rays to Meat Loaf their first three series of the season.

Team record: 6-3, 1/2 game behind the Red Sox and Jays. Next up: Back home for 3 vs Detroit.
