If I'm controlling a team, I'll play out every regular-season and postseason game that it plays on one-pitch mode.
If I'm an observer wanting to see how the seasons play out, I'll sim nearly everything, just playing out parts of games that intrigue me going down the stretch during a pennant race (for historical games) and/or in the playoffs.
