I didn't mention much about them, and we'll see how they'll fare, but the Sunshine Tidings are a dark horse team ahead of their league right now. It's the tightest league right now with the Chemists and Starlight only five games apart from 1st and 6th. Sunshine Tidings has shown improvement, barely missing the playoffs last year after finishing last or nearly last every other season of the full CBO. They lost the 2nd-place tiebreaker to the Lady Killers last year for the last playoff spot.
I'm not sure there is anything special about them, but rookie Baktu DaWell, who was a monster in the BYDL but not projected to be great, has been lights out so far. I actually cannot figure that one out in my analysis of the OOTP engine. He hit 37 home runs with Wattz his only season in the formed BYDL. He got drafted 2nd overall, though scouts projected him to be drafted lower. And he hit 39 homers last season with Rocky Narrows in the GBRL. Yet OSA does not see greatness in him. I think I must have bumped up his potential because I thought it was crazy that he was putting up monster numbers and not getting any respect. He is currently a 26 overall but has 6 homers and 18 RBI while batting .338 in 18 starts.
