Players with no major league contract on start up
So when you start the game there's players on your 40 man with no major league contract. Obviously once you start the season they get given the minimum major league salary, which is fine. However because when you start they basically aren't getting paid it effects your finances immediately.
I started a game with the Angels and i had $200m commited in player salaries for the year. I did nothing, promoted no one, just started the season with the roster and then that number went up ti $207m because of the guys on my 40 man who didn't have contracts all suddenly getting major league minimum. I spent all my available money on player development not realizing i actually had that extra $7m to pay.
Surely that needs to be looked at to give an accurate pictures of a clubs finances at startup?
