I didn't upload league files because it doesn't really matter what league you try.
Create a fictional league.
Select Standard Settings 1988 Settings.
Do not check Automatically adjust league strategy.
Check Lock League Totals
Check Use Auto Calc.
Sim to opening day. Look at hook settingss. Notice they will be Default or +1. Sim the season. Notice how many complete games there are because it is using 1988 tendencies.
Sim to 2020. Look at hook settings. Notice they are probably -2 or -3. Sim the season. Notice how few complete games there are. This is because it is using 2020 Tendencies.
Hook setting is being autocalcuated for the game year and not locked to 1988.
